FALMOUTH — An Italian sailor’s trans-Atlantic journey from Venice to Nantucket ended abruptly May 27 when his 33-foot sailboat capsized only 1,500 feet from the island.It was hardly the first frustrating turn of events for Vittorio Fabris, nor would it be the last.But Fabris’ 14-month adventure, inspired by Herman Melville’s “Moby-Dick,” makes for a whale of a tale, which he plans to commit to paper once he gets back home.With the help of Alberto
